Experience and Career Highlights
Matt Anderson has a long history of service, spending over 24 years in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a colonel in October 2021. During his career, he worked closely with several key military commands, including NORAD, USNORTHCOM, and USSPACECOM, serving as a senior liaison officer for the U.S. Transportation Command. This role gave him a deep understanding of space and defense operations.
After retiring, Anderson moved into leadership roles in the space industry. He is now a vice president at CACI, where he focuses on clients from the Space Force and Air Force. He also acts as the chief growth officer for the Space Force Association, helping the organization expand and grow.
Education and Recognition
Anderson has a solid educational background. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and studied at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He holds degrees in biology, aeronautical science, and leadership & counseling.
