From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT, the Capitol grounds will come alive with displays from NASA’s Johnson Space Center, along with booths from commercial and academic space partners across Texas.
- At 10 a.m., the Texas House and Senate will read official proclamations honoring:
- NASA’s 25 years of continuous human presence on the International Space Station
- The High School Aerospace Scholars program
- The progress of Artemis, NASA’s mission to return humans to the Moon and prepare for Mars
Following the readings, an Artemis II crew astronaut will host a live Q&A session from the Capitol steps, sharing their personal insights and inspiring the next generation of explorers.
